Wren High School services the NW portion of Anderson County. The school opened at this location in 1972. Expansions included a the "300" building in 1997 and a Freshman Academy which opened in 2004. The 57 acre site is split with the stadium facility located .25 miles away on Wigington Rd. The school received consecutive "Excellent" Absolute ratings for academic yrs 2002-2010. WHS HSAP, ACT & SAT scores highest among school district HS.
   The 2011 Class earned about $1.4 million in scholarships with 86% planning advanced education.
