Gettys Breakers
Overview of the school.R.H. Gettys Middle School is located on a 19 acre site on the east side of Easley 1 mile from downtown. It was opened in 1962 to service 7th and 8th grades and was expanded in the mid 1990's to accommodate 6th graders when it became RH Gettys Middle School. The school in dedicated to "develop(ing) confident, competent, and responsible students by providing well-defined educational opportunities..."
